Eye for Wedding Design LLC Need a creative way to make your day really special? Get your guests involved! Here are two great easy and inexpensive ways to make your celebration more memorable. You’ll be surprised by how fun this is for not just you, but for your guests too! - Make an announcement, or consider having place cards on the table that explain that if guests want you to kiss, they have to stand and share a story about you as a couple.
- During cocktail hour or on the dinner table, have decorative note cards available for guests to write down their memories of you as a couple or just their well wishes. Make sure to have a gift box, basket or jar to collect the cards. What a great way to preserve your wedding memories for years to come!

Eye for Wedding Design LLC More and more couples are looking to make their ceremony more their own. One of the easiest ways to do that is to make sure that you choose the vows that work for you. Unless you’re restricted by religious tradition, many officiants welcome you to write your own. If you’re worried about adding one more thing to your to-do list, or you feel you’re not good at expressing your emotions, work with your officiant and have him or her write your vows for you. And don’t feel as if you have to recite them either. It’s becoming more common to have your officiant recite your vows instead, freeing you up to actually focus and listen to what is being said. Not to mention worrying about stage fright and public speaking in front of a crowd! If you do choose to recite your own, just remember, practice, practice, practice. That way, no matter how nervous you are, you know that there’s at least one part of the service that you know by heart. The team at Eye for Wedding Design

Eye for Wedding Design LLC 8310 S. Valley Hwy Suite 300 Englewood, CO 80112 720-279-2525 Don’t be afraid to show off who you are! After all, your past is what helped make you what you are today. Your wedding is the perfect time to embrace your identity and share family traditions among all of your loved ones.
Your ethnic and cultural background can provide a wealth of customs and traditions that can give you a wealth of inspiration. Ask your parents or grandparents, or do your own online research. You can find out about all kinds of customs and order any props you might need with a quick search. Consider incorporating traditional customs, family dishes or even design elements that embrace your heritage.
With more interracial and intercultural weddings than ever before, incorporating traditions from both sides can not only be a great way to tell a story, but also be a common element for all of your family and guests.

Eye for Wedding Design LLC 8310 S. Valley Hwy Suite 300 Englewood, CO 80112 Traditions are one thing, and weddings are full of them. They are part of what makes a wedding, well, a wedding. But just because there is tradition, that doesn’t mean you can’t let your own personality shine through. You don’t have to read the old standby “Love Is Patient” (when did THAT turn into a tradition anyway?) or play Mozart or Bach at your service. Do some research, and find music and readings that really speak to you.
If you’re restricted because of religious or family traditions, don’t worry. There are still flowers, decor and the reception to show off your style. No matter what, make sure that your flowers, decor and music reflect your taste. It’s YOUR day after all. This day should reflect you and your life. Don’t be afraid to find things that really reflect your style.

Eye for Wedding Design LLC 8310 S. Valley Hwy Suite 300 Englewood, CO 80112 720-279-2525 Looking to add some Feng Shui to your day? Here are some easy ways to add peace and harmony to your wedding: - Add some nature to your reception or wedding site. Hold the wedding or reception outdoors. If that’s not possible, bring the outdoors in by picking a reception site with large windows with expansive views.
- Don’t despair if you’ve already fallen in love with an indoor location without a tree in sight. Simply bring the outside in. Infuse your floral designs with twigs, fruit or nuts. Decorate with large trees, topiaries, or even branches laden with lights.
- Hold a dove or butterfly release to add a touch of the outdoors. Or you may want to consider featuring dove or butterfly sculptures on your wedding cake, as an ice sculpture, in jewelry, or even jeweled or embellished butterflies as table decorations.
- Stick with more natural colors such as ivory, creams and soft neutral shades, which are thought to be more energizing. And make sure to use a few splashes of red, the Chinese color of happiness. You don’t need to use a lot. Just a pop of red is all you need to attract happiness.
